Clara County Board of Education Member Craig Mann, 48, will
be a candidate for San Jose City Council District 8 to replace
Vice Mayor David Cortese who cannot run again due to term
limits.

JOSE – The Santa Clara County Board of Education on
Wednesday elected its officers for 2008. Jane Howard, who
has served on the board since 2005, was named president,
and Craig Mann, a board member since 2006, was named
vice-president.
